Cumberland Hill Graduation Parade

Hello neighbors!

As has never happened before, due to the pandemic virus there are no formal graduations this year in Fayette County. However, Cumberland Hill would like to recognize all of our graduates – from kindergarten all the way up to graduate school and beyond – with a Cumberland Hill Graduation Parade!

This “driving” parade will take place on Saturday, May 30th at Noon.

If you would like to participate, meet at the clubhouse at 11:45am in your car, and we will proceed from there. We wish we could drive down every street in the neighborhood, but some may be too narrow to make it through.

If you want to stand in your yard or take up a spot along the way to cheer your graduate on, we will be driving along Rockbridge, Saron, Watermill, Longbridge, Thornbridge and Charwood.

Here is our route:

  • Start at the Clubhouse and head down Rockbridge to Saron Dr.
  • Right on Saron to Watermill
  • Left on Watermill to the end and back up to Saron
  • Right on Saron and right on Rockbridge
  • Right on Longbridge and follow around to Thornbridge
  • Left on Thornbridge to Rockbridge
  • Left on Rockbridge back up to Saron
  • Right on Saron and proceed to Charwood
  • Right on Charwood and head all the way around back to Rockbridge
  • Right on Rockbridge and the parade can break up at Rockbridge and Saron

If you would like to participate, we would love to have you, regardless if you are a member of CHNA or not.

SO DON THOSE CAPS & GOWNS, decorate your car if you like, get your school graduation posters and pictures out and display them with pride.

Our banner celebrating all of our graduates is proudly displayed at the front of the neighborhood. We invite all to take a picture in front of it!

Congratulations to ALL of our Cumberland Hill graduates!
